How do i make a corset top?

Iv always had an interest in corsets, but i don’t have money to buy one. I barely have money for fabric to make one. Anyways i have some black velvet and i wanted to make a corset, but i have no idea how to even get one started. Can anyone give me tips or link me to a good site that helps. Please, no rude comments.
